Game two of the Capital City Go-Go and Delaware Blue Coats matchup fell in favor of the home team. In another nail biter, the Go-Go pulled out the game with a score of 120-114.
The Go-Go looked a lot more poised this time around with an influx of Washington Wizards two-way players to join their rotations. However, it was still anybody’s game. The Blue Coats repeated their top notch paint performance and additionally out rebounded the Go-Go eleven to three.
Washington Wizards two-way player Eugene Omoruyi was among the most notable and had 31 points and 11 rebounds in the game. Jared Butler held down the fort on assist, with nine on the game.
David Duke Jr. led the day with 35 points for the Blue Coats. Ricky Council IV and Javonte Smart also repeated their stellar performance by scoring 20+ with 27 and 22 points.
The Go-Go will hit the road to Atlanta, GA for their first matchup against Skyhawks at Gateway Center Arena on Saturday, November 18 at 6:00 p.m.
